Spiritual Awareness

My journey out of the unconscious state began almost ten years ago.

My trauma, my ego, my primitive brain made a strong case for remaining unconscious—it was very convincing.

But there was no fulfillment, no satisfaction.

And the Universe had already shown me, like in that moment after Cole’s death, that the satisfaction of spiritual awareness is extremely fulfilling.

It’s desirable.

It’s worth the change over.

Being here in Austin, I feel like I’m waiting to feel something.

Hear something.

In the wind, in my soul.

A message, a reminder.

But every little thing is a message.

Life is meant to be thoroughly enjoyable.

Even the process of burning down and rebuilding your life is exceptional.

It can be easy—without unnecessary suffering.

It can be fun.

It can be everything you want it to be.

But you have to make it happen.

You have to decide what you want it to be.
